The Ithaa Undersea Restaurant is a unique dining experience located on Conrad Maldives Rangali Island. The restaurant is situated 16 feet (5 metres) below the surface of the Indian Ocean, and provides guests with a panoramic view of the underwater world. The transparent acrylic roof allows for natural light to flood the interior of the restaurant, and guests can watch in awe as colourful fish, reef sharks and stingrays swim by.

Ithaa's menu is comprised of contemporary European cuisine with Asian influences, including fresh seafood dishes such as lobster, prawns, and grouper. The restaurant also has a wine list that features selections from around the world. If you want to go a step beyond dinner, Ithaa Undersea Restaurant can also be used for private parties and weddings.

Ithaa literally means "mother-of-pearl" in Maldives' Dhivehi language, and this is the mother of all restaurants as it's the World's first undersea dining experience. During its first year of inception, the under-construction restaurant survived the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami without any damage and enjoyed a successful opening in April 2005.
