The stunning lobby of The Mondrian was created by Dutch designer Marcel Wander, inspired by the fairy tale Sleeping Beauty. To get to the lobby, you have to walk up a floating stairway that links to an impressive outdoor space. This hotel is located on the west side of South Beach and is quite a distance from any natural beaches (an 18-minute walk), however, overlooks the beautiful sunset views at Biscayne Bay. You can soak up the sunshine at the main outdoor pool, set in lush gardens and you can also chill and sip at the poolside bar and lounge area. The hotel has its own man-made beach area which definitely merits exploring; alternatively though you could just chill out on one of their comfortable daybeds.

The Mondrian bar is a favourite spot for hotel guests and locals alike who enjoy the weekly pool party. In addition to providing an excellent Sunday brunch, you can also upgrade your brunch to include bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys for just a little extra.
