The Goodtime Hotel may just be the perfect stay for American R&B and hip-hop music lovers. Musician Pharrell Williams and his business partner, hospitality billionaire David Grutman opened this new hotel on Washington Avenue in April 2021. The hotel's architecture is reminiscent of Miami Beach's Art Deco style, but with a modern twist. The front of the building features a corrugated facade, pastel colours, florals, and palm tree motifs dotted throughout.

Eager locals and tourists wait in line on weekends to attend the giant, Las Vegas-style pool parties. The events are always hosted by famous and local DJs as well as celebrities, which makes for an amazing atmosphere. The hotel rooms are stylish and beautifully designed but known to be on the smaller side. That said, they are fine if your plan is to stay and play - just drop off your bags and enjoy the rest of what the hotel has to offer. Chill and take in the scene by the expansive pool lounge and sip at one of the two open-air bars. The Goodtime Hotel is highly recommended for a weekend in Miami with friends and is the perfect spot to let loose and have a "good time".
